Guest guest
, Have you checked for parasites or bacterial infections? This kind of thing would be one of my guesses, based on our experience. When he is in his funk everything is bad, never has a nice thing to say about anything, and generally seems pretty unhappy with life (and he's not much fun to be around). This is my older son's standard 'reaction' to any food or supplement that isn't agreeing with him right off (before the head-banging sets in). In direct contrast he is The Happy Child otherwise. Unfortunately I can't be more specific. It has happened with DMG, dairy without Peptizyde, a few multi-vitamins I don't know why, and weather changes. It could be a number of causes. He runs low in serotonin and will get this way when he misses his Zoloft. Is your son sensitive to hypoglycemia or serotonin swings? . Guest guest
I'm not sure how to answer that. He definitely gets grumpy with low blood sugar, but his current behavior happens even if he has eaten recently. How does one know if they are experiencing a serotonin swing? The last time he got like this was when I removed his MSM. Adding it back in fixed the problem, but we haven't changed the level of MSM he takes in a very long time. - Date: Fri, 18 Jun 2004 05:34:56 -0000 From: " jornmatt " <kjorn@...> Subject: Re: negative state of mind >> My son seems to drift in and out of " doom and gloom " mode a lot.
