Guest guest
I started my son on AFP Pep two days ago on Tuesday. Since I work fulltime and I am not with him all day, I can only add the AFP during the morning juice and dinner/night time juice. I will be able to add supplements at our daycare, but only after I see Dr. Usman and have the support of family and extended family. OK, but this question pertains to what we are seeing in our son. First, I know that there will be regression. I have read posts on regression on this list and there are the instructions that came with the AFP Pep that there could be exormorphin reaction (?). My son is starting to line up his toys again. When I went into his room this morning, I thought I was going to cry. He lined up toys from about April-mid August...then just stopped. I thought really hard about this....and I think he stopped when we started going CF as well as when he adjusted to the yeast overgrowth supplement we gave which was Candidasis (really an enzyme, but I didnt know that at the time). We had huge regression for about 2 weeks with the Candidasis...he lined everything up, sensory issues went up sky-high and he scripted non-stop. Then, after he adjusted to them...he was very aware of his environment, waved to people, and was really really happy all the time. I guess this is the " happy kid " effect. But now that we started with the AFP PEP, he is lining toys up again, his sensory issues went up bigtime and he is very irritable. IS THIS NORMAL WHEN STARTING WITH AFP? IS THIS WHAT THEY MEANT BY EXORMORPHIN REACTION? Unfortunately, I brought the bottle of the Candidasis to an appointment with our dietician and I lost it. Instead of buying another bottle, I thought I would give houston enzymes a shot first, specifically no-fenol. But, then I got even more confused...when I read that Candex and Candidasis is really effective for yeast, because they contain proteases which helps, but No-fenol doesnt. SO, my final questions are: Is the reaction/regression stated above typical of starting AFP PFP? And, can I re-add the Candidasis (I found the missing bottle) with the AFP PEP? AND, what causes kids to line up toys? PLEASE tell me that all of this is biomedical treatable... THANKS, sorry for the long questions. Kim Since this is the behavior you saw when you started dietary interventions and other enzymes, it's quite possible you are going through another similar withdrawal period. You should be through this by about three weeks after starting enzymes. If the adjustment is too difficult, you can reduce the dose and build up slowly. Candidase is a cellulase and protease product. Candex is a cellulase product. No-fenol is a cellulase product. AFP is a protease product. If you give both AFP and No-fenol, you are giving proteases and cellulases. You can give the AFP and No-fenol together. You can give the AFP and the Candidase together. You can give the AFP and Candex together. Whatever combination you use, start out slowly. I'd adjust to one product before adding the next. Some products have a high activity level and you may want to start with a low dose. Some products are very hyped as to what they will do with slick over- marketing, which is a big pet-peeve of mine. I'm really biased for un-hyped products that give factual information about what they've been approved to do. Some enzyme formulas are very clearly marketed toward a slew of specific ailments, but that doesn't mean it affects those better than a more professionaly, science-minded company's products. But you have to go with what helps your child the most, regardless of how it is marketed.

My son lined up toys because of virus issues. AFP will help kill viruses, altho for my son, viral die off causes yeast, which will also cause him to line up his toys. Try increasing his probiotics or Candex, see if that helps. Dana
