Guest guest
>>>> Aluminum excess malic acid is supposed to help remove excess aluminum. I use Source Naturals magnesium malate for the magnesium, but the malic acid might be a nice bonus. Interestingly, I bought a bottle of NOW brand mag malate because the store was out of the Source Naturals. Did not work as well at least in the mag department. Switched back to Source Naturals and the constipation problem was resolved once again. > > Oxidant stress: Antioxidant therapy What antioxidants were suggested? >>>Can supplements actually help your child be more attentive and correct AS behaviors? Yes, depending on what is causing the behaviors....if it is related to a nutrient deficiency or poor digestion somehow. If it is caused by something else, then supplements may not improve the situation. Does your son sleep okay??? .
Guest guest
>>Sleeping has always been an issue, he just doesn't seem to need more than 4-5 hrs. Phenol intolerance is a common cause of sleep issues http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Yeast can also be a cause http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm There are certain foods and supplements that can also cause sleep issues. Enzymes can help, if you don't want to remove foods. Dana
Guest guest
> Does anyone know if or what behaviors these deficiencies could cause. I'm I missing something? Can supplements actually help your child be more attentive and correct AS behaviors? I wouldn't be the one to provide feedback on your specific lab results, but I can tell you that many " official " medical studies link nutritional deficiencies to various learning disorders like ADD, ADHD, etc. ABSOLUTELY supplements can make a huge difference in attentiveness and " correct " behaviors. There was recently a study that showed how zinc significantly helped kids with ADHD. We began zinc supplementation right around that time and have seen enormous gains with our son. The two other supplements that have been best for our son are Houston's AFP Peptizyde and B12 subcutaneous injections. Others supplements have had modest success, still others have been huge failures. We test when we think we need more info, and trial the supplements we think are best. Keeping a journal helps us chart the results. HTH,
