Ultimate Enzymes (from The Health Nuts)

Believe me, I know that the website, product packaging, and company name are

cheese to the max... But someone on another cleanse mailing list claimed

these to be the best enzyme supplement on the market. And I have to admit,

the amount of enzymes in this product is indeed extraordinary. Looks

impressive:

Anyone have any experience with these? Even though I already ordered the

Houston ZymePrime and Peptizide I am tempted to get these as well as they

seem like a more thorough approach. But then again I am new to the enzyme

scene so advice is highly appreciated :-) (I am battling fibromyalgia-like

muscle pain and gluten/dairy/sugar sensitivities among other things)

Thanks!

You can always order 1 bottle of it and after starting the Houston

enzymes, try that one. Or try that one bottle and then when it is

finished, try the Houston ones. That way you will know which is

better for your situation. I think there is value is knowing where

the grass is not greener on the other side - you won't have to wonder

about it for months on end.

As far as potency on the label, I don't really think there is much

difference from the Houston enzymes once all the conversions are

done. And with enzymes, one blend might be much better than another.

For example, Peptizyde was designed for the casein/gluten protein

breakdown issue. It has a special blend of proteases for that. It

will work on other proteins but also the dairy/grain/soy ones. Other

proteases work on proteins in general but don't have the mix to allow

dairy and grains (or replace a GFCF diet).

So it depends on the person's need as well. The Health Nut enzymes

look fine for general digestion for a typical person and do have a

better activity level than most. However, I wouldn't be a bit

surprised if the Houston ones still proved better.

I noticed this on one of the comparison charts:

" With this comparison chart... you can see what you're actually

getting for your money. Notice: there is only one company under $100

average in the last column... " The Health Nuts " . '

But I see 4 companies that has an average cost of under $100 in the

last column: Enzymedica Digest Gold, RGarden Int., Envia, as well as

Health Nuts. The next thing I ask is " This is cost per activity and

capsule, but how many capsules are a serving or do you need to

effective? " Overall the Health Nuts are much better than average as

they say. But most enzyme products aren't just so-so to begin with as

it wasn't a huge area of interest. But there might be other products

that aren't included in this comparison and register better, or have

a blend better suited to your needs.

Another one you might want to give a try for the dairy problem is

Lacto by Enzymedica. This is a newer one and is intended for the

person who wants to take one enzyme with meals (so it has good broad-

spectrum activity) but has a particular problem with dairy (so has

higher doses of enzymes for dairy sugar and proteins).

So try the Houston, and then if you are wondering about others, you

can get one bottle of whatever to try for comparison...and then go

with whatever works best for you.

I have tried about 20 different enzyme products personally...and done

lots of different experiments with them on different food mixtures.

Definitely overkill. :)
