Guest guest
Taking a child outside in the cool air will stop a coughing fit also. Listen for signs of breathing problems- as croup can be serious- it is rare, but does happen. Guest guest
http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/bacterial_viral/croup.html Besides the ideas given (which are recommended above as a 'mainstream' treatment), you can give more Peptizyde or other protease you are using between meals (like 2-4 capsules each time; 3 or more times a day). This may help with the inflammation in the airways as well as help with the bacteria/viral problem causing it. .
Guest guest
Hi , I remember a post from last year about that AFP helps break up the mucus. I normally give him 1 of each -(AFP, ZP & NF)at each meal, except when he drinks goat milk-he gets 2 of AFP & ZP, so I gave him 2 AFP Pep this AM with his juice and will continue to do so when his regular dose at meals are given. I did the steaming in the shower middle of the night to help him get back to sleep. I remember that from when he was an infant. I was reading this morning how OLE may help since it is the croup is a viral issue. So I started dosing with OLE already. I will also try Mandi's suggestion on the onion, garlic & honey remedy. Thanks!
