Guest guest
Kim, That happened with my daughter when she started the enzymes. The first few days she was in the bathroom so many times. But like your son, it wasnt' diarrhea. The enzymes were cleaning out the waste that was sitting in the intestines. > > Just curious, would it be expected that a child might poop a lot after > starting enzymes? Guest guest
My son didn't nap for weeks when we started Pep, but once he adjusted fully he went right back on schedule. He was also a little hyper, but if it got too bad we backed off on the dose and took it more slowly. It took him months to be able to tolerate a full cap. > > Just curious, would it be expected that a child might poop a lot after > starting enzymes? Guest guest
Well good, I was hoping that was what it was. Maybe I need some of those enzymes--I might lose 10 lbs!!!! Re: Lot's of poop!! Guest guest
There are kids who cannot tolerate the papain or bromelain in these enzymes. It can make them hyper. I think the No Fenol can help with that... or there are papain free forms of the enzymes. It has been so long since I have used them, I forget all of the specific names. pam > > Just curious, would it be expected that a child might poop a lot after > starting enzymes? It might be clearing out the gut. It might be that your child does not tolerate Pep. Try using AFP Pep, see if that works better.
