Some kids do better with the on days than off days. Now that I've

said that, I can't remember what to do about it!

I can tell you I sometimes feel a little under the weather for the

12-24 hours after I end my ALA round. Headaches/fatigue. What I'm

unsure of is how much effect waking up every 3-4 hours for 3 days

has to do with those symptoms vs ALA (can't fall back asleep very

well). If I were 5, I might pitch a fit myself.

I go every 4 hours at night with ALA. It is working for us. I've

occasionally gone 4 hours during the day as circumstances arise

(late bus, father takes kid on errand and doesn't return in time,

etc).

I think this was round 6 or 7 for us with ALA. The language that

has appeared with each round has given me so much optimism.

Receptive language has been our big stumbling block these past 3

years, and I finally see a little light at the end of our tunnel.
