Guest guest
What is interesting about the MTHFR mutations (my ASD son tested positive for 2 different mutations) is that a fairly large percentage of the population are predicted to have the mutations/deletions. I read up to 20% of Caucasians? So, why did our kids become Autistic? It could be that my son also has some other gene mutations that also affect detoxification. I hope enough $$$ will soon be directed toward this type of research. These others must be able to rid themselves of toxins to some degree. I do worry about my son's future after chelation is complete. However, if we avoid shooting him up with toxic soup, then perhaps he has a fighting chance. , did you stop chelation because you saw no more Hg coming out, because your son is considered 'recovered' or because your DAN! doc feels he cannot detox normally (you aren't clear). Thanks, Pam p.s. great choice in names. My ASD 4 yr old is also Ian. > > > > Hi All, > > > > As i am reading thro all the biomed stuff and educating myself > while > > starting the journey for my 21/2 yr old ASD son one thing always > > lingers in my mind. > > We heal his gut, give him supplements, chelate and remove heavy > metals > > and the miracle happens (which i hope) and my son is able to move > > on.... > > From what i read the root cause is our kids are not able to > detoxify .. > > How are we correcting this problem ?
