Hi Coral

Dr Waring was doing a test at Birmingham University here in the UK where she

does her research. We haven;t done it. It involves giving the child

paracetamol I beleive and then taking blood and urine to assess how wwell the

body deals

with detoxing it back out again.

Trying Epsom Salts is probably easier and what we did to 'diagnose' the

problem. We continue to use them to 'treat' the problem along with No Fenol and

mineral supps.

GPL announced a test a while back, but I don't know how effective it

is. You can write or call and ask

Only if the sensitivity was allergy related. PST is not an allergy.

Commonly associated with phenol intolerance.

Antibiotics commonly cause yeast overgrowth issues

Ginger,

When body parts start turning red, this makes me think of a detox or

histamine reaction where the body is trying to get rid of something.

There could have been something in the antibiotic product (such as

the pink coloring in amoxicillan), or it could be he hasn't fully

gotten out the die-off by products.

If you have Peptizyde, give extra of those...can help with detoxing.

By the way, I didn't realize you had not needed enzymes in so long.

Congratulations on good gut recovery!

Give probiotics heavily after antibiotics or the bad bugs/yeast can

fill in. Has you son been getting probiotics? Our pharmacy has a big

sign on their counter that says: Antibiotics? Remember the probiotics!

Epsom salts, of course, lots of fluids and clean water. Vitamin C...

I would drop it down to where you were before. Be sure you are giving

the GSE with the No-Fenol.

My son started having a red splotching on the skin under his lower

lip. Despite putting aquaflora, it has remained (less red, more

lumpy). Additionally the cheeks are reddening (one redder than the

other).

3.5 Yr ASD, TD-DMPS, GFCF (mostly gluten free anyways)

Thanks!!!

Wanda, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember

reading somewhere that epsom salt baths can draw toxins out through the

skin, so you shouldn't have frequent baths. Sometimes the bath can leave a

person feeling somewhat ill becuase of the toxins being drawn out. I would

venture to guess that if your son is reacting positivly to the baths, then

it's probably not an issue.

For some kids, this would mean too-fast detox. Try putting less epsom

salt in the water.

Too-fast detox can cause this.

Try adding folic acid and increasing the yeast protocol. If this does

not help, try adding carnitine and amino acids.

He is on

For yeast die off toxins, try giving activated charcoal about 45

minutes after the Nystatin.
