Guest guest
Mark, I know that you are talking to SS, but I just can't resist. PCA-Rx contains lipoic acid - the company won't say how much but they do say that there is some in it. It is NOT a good idea to give a poisoned person lipoic acid on anything other than a chelation schedule, every 3 h, for so many days on, so many days off. Giving it infrequently, and with amalgams in place (the company tells people to do that!!) brings in the element of risk of driving metals INTO the brain and other sensitive tissues and leading to worsening of symptoms over time. It is truly not necessary to take such a risk, or to pay big bucks for PCA-RX when a person can just buy lipoic acid, measure out the appropriate dose, and use in appropriately. Because it does contain lipoic acid, one would expect that some people do feel better some of the time while taking it, because it will move metals. The problem is that by taking it infrequently it will move metals to places where they are not wanted. If you check archives you will find that poisoned adults do report serious side effects from PCA-Rx at extremely low doses. This tells me that it is doing something, and that means that the risk of using it and having the metals go to unwanted places is high. I have asked over and over again in various groups for someone to post any evidence from the company - anything at all - and so far no one has come up with anything at all. This tells me that the company claims are most likely just nonsense. Apparently Andy did review some company information at one time and his posts are in archives somewhere.
