Guest guest
no, it s synthesis of what i have read and experienced but unique as far as i can see. > > is unbound copper > > > > so its low copper in terms of what the body is using > > > > the bodies copper transport mechanisms are not working properly, > nor > > is the excretion through the liver and bile working properly > > > > so you have the dual problem of to much copper around and not > enough > > copper from impaired transport mechanisms
Guest guest
Okay, thanks for the succinct lesson. Very helpful. But I guess that means I still have to go dig up 's posts... > > > is unbound copper > > > > > > so its low copper in terms of what the body is using > > > > > > the bodies copper transport mechanisms are not working properly, > > nor > > > is the excretion through the liver and bile working properly > > > > > > so you have the dual problem of to much copper around and not > > enough > > > copper from impaired transport mechanisms
Guest guest
you should have in the first place, but i doubt you will. there is no answer or true explantion, just an evolution of understanding that goes more backwards than forwards from what i see on these boards so forgive my dowsing a bit of clarity on the mess people give the wrong zinc, they don't give zinc AND molybdenum, the remaining minerals are all supplemented wrong.............the doses are way too high............the foods wrong............the gut conditions just speaking yeast............ and i get posts about lifting gist amd biomedical sanctity what can i say? i don't even think a notion of removing copper is correct and now i think about it julie was not talking about removing copper either. really you are attempting to restore the minerals transport and liver function and copper sebacate seems to bypass the normal transports for copper and goes direct to function which is why it is interesting to know what form of copper the person dana knows was using...........but again when i cast back i seem to remember she was doing some other things as well which would have an impact. > > > > is unbound copper > > > > > > > > so its low copper in terms of what the body is using > > > > > > > > the bodies copper transport mechanisms are not working > properly, > > > nor > > > > is the excretion through the liver and bile working properly > > > > > > > > so you have the dual problem of to much copper around and not > > > enough > > > > copper from impaired transport mechanisms

OK, you're totally frustrated. But I don't think your recommendations are ignored here or discounted -- the problem for many of us is that treating a young child makes the situation more difficult. It's like we're having to find a path with our eyes closed. I would absolutely feed my son fresh liver and marrow but he will not eat it. I try n's supplements on myself first but I rarely notice any change -- and the same is true when I give him something new. The subtle discernments you make are impossible for me to see in him. He does reasonably well at telling me how he is feeling and of course I can make very broad guesses based on his behavior but because he is another person, most of the time I just Don't Know. Just trying to say that your plan of broad-based mineral supplementation is not, I don't think, being dismissed by people -- but it is very difficult to carry out because I don't have enough information to know which way to turn next except in the coarsest way. I'm giving up Extend Core and working on individual mineral/vitamins now. Has anyone got a decent B-complex with methyl B12 that they like? I was using Solgar for awhile and didn't like it. Guest guest
andrew, > you should have in the first place, but i doubt you will. Really? I'm very curious that I personally have left you with the impression that I don't fully investigate, to the best of my ability, everything I am trying to do for my son. This is very difficult subject matter for me, and I suspect it takes me longer than others to embrace the wisdom from various references. It also takes me awhile to work my way down the list of things to investigate. For instance, I have been very busy lately with the asthma episode that put my son in the hospital for three days. Making sure he's breathing well in the short term, while I research long-term measures, seems more pressing than some other things at the moment. > and i get posts about lifting gist I'm sorry if this offended. I certainly didn't mean to imply that you " lifted " anything. While sharing on many of these boards people certainly aren't expected to cite references for every bit of info they present. It's up to the reader to further research or clarify. In my field, " lifting " is a serious offense. > what can i say? This doesn't seem to be a problem of yours. *L* *O* *L*. > i don't even think a notion of removing copper is correct and now i > think about it julie was not talking about removing copper either. No, my memory of it was that she thought there was evidence we should *add* copper.
Guest guest
HELLO, i have a question on copper in the body. my daughts results of copper in the body are high (145cu). i just wanted to know if there is anything other than what i have to on that would help lower them. i have her on a gluten, casein-free diet. i did a detox for metal to start with for 2 mons. she also is on MB12 shots,DMG,vitamin C(asorbic acid),Pyridoxal(Vitamin B-6),Pyridoxal-5-Phospate,Biotin,Magnesium Glycinate,Nordic Natural Cod Liver Oil, Zinc Picolinate,Vitamin E,Molybdenum,Iron and MTPII. if anyone have input on copper i would love to know thanks stephanie
Guest guest
Well, looks like you need to do some drastic work on copper levels. Do you know what the Zn/Cu ratio is? How much zinc are you currently using? How much molybdenum? Any selenium? Did they talk about using drugs to lower copper? What advice is Pfeiffer offering? The majority of copper is excreted in the bile, so I would guess maximizing liver function would be a good thing (milk thistle). Guest guest
ya the pfeiffer gave me some stuff to help with the copper. i have to go back in 2 mons for them to see where she is at. i feel that she made some what of an improvment when she first went on them, now she just has stayed the same. not a hole lot has happened in the last 2-3 mons. see before i would see change all the time, now not so much anymore. i am lost on my next move. i know she need some kind of school but i am still looking for one that i like. stephanie noaholiviaian <phaselow@...> wrote: Well, looks like you need to do some drastic work on copper levels.
