Guest guest
Hi It sure sounds like your son and you would be good responders to an anti-viral protocol if you are getting these results with the OLE in Yeast Aid. Have you checked out the viral file in the files section yet? It might be very helpful to you. Once you have settled nicely into chelation, that might be a good next step. take care René (not a virus expert, but stocking up on the antivirals for a summer campaign!) > > , > > Regarding the viruses and Yeast Aid then, does this mean then that his/my body is clearing some viruses that were kind of dormant in our bodies? Guest guest
, Unfortunately I think the viral issue has not been settled on this list (or any other that I have seen). I know the question has been posed multiple times as to whether an antiviral protocol will permanently take care of the problem or whether it will be an ongoing battle. I'm not sure we have a clear answer at this time. I know Dana has said that it is one of the things that continued causing an issue for at least one of her kids, even after many other supplements were able to be withdrawn. I plan to start Virastop soon for my little guy based on what the Y.A. did- primarily because others have reported such positive gains with an antiviral protocol. I have seen a few things consistently discussed regarding antiviral treatment: 1.Viruses are not technically alive, so cannot be killed. It's been too long since I had biology classes, so I had forgotten that. I thought viruses were alive. 2. Virastop destroys the protective coating/wall around a viral cell, leaving it vulnerable & more easily eliminated. 3. Other antiviral agents such as OLE can assist with that elimination process. 4. Viral die-off can temporarily cause symptoms of illness & rashes and can also exacerbate/ " kick up " yeast issues. 5. One explanation I've heard of what an antiviral protocol does is to take dormant viral cells, & force them to activate & complete their cycle. This is a very simplified & therefore probably not accurate explanation! , Thanks so much for sharing your experience. That may be what's happening to my son also, even though he is not too sick, just a bit. He is acting totally happy though! Since we began Yeast Aid (about 5 days ago, my son still taking half the recommended dose, today I increased it) he has been having this thush, and he did feel kind of warmer last night and the night before, and developed a cough yesterday not too bad) and a runny nose today. I don't think he has an earache, he has not been pulling at his ears just yet...But I have been having an ear ache since I begun to taking Yeast Aid also. Every time I take the capsule, like an hour to two hours into it I am beginning to feel slight pain - and after each pill it's the other ear! Regarding the viruses and Yeast Aid then, does this mean then that his/my body is clearing some viruses that were kind of dormant in our bodies? I just don't have the science knowledge behind this... My son's sleep patterns have slightly changed also. He is sleeping better and deeper the first (major) part of the night, but wakes early. Today at 4 am. I will see how this is going to change as my next step will be adding a multi-strain probiotic supplement and increasing the Yeast Aid. I will wait to chelate next weekend, hopefully by then he will be stronger to meet the increasing yeast issues that come with chelation. Thanks again - if there's anyone out there who could explain more about the viruses and Yeast Aid (OLE is in it among other things), or experiences with Yeast Aid in general, I'd appreciate it greatly! & Elsass <elsass@...> wrote: , Just to confirm your thoughts on the Yeast Aid, when we put my son on it, he developed fever & illness (for the 1st time in 1 1/2 years) and then developed chicken-poxish pustules on his face. So I think we're definitely dealing with something viral in our case, brought out by the Y.A.. Hi, I have been giving Yeast Aid to my son for the past 5 days, with great results. The only side effect I noticed is perhaps thrush in his mouth, but it seems to be getting better. And the bahavioral/language/etc gains are HUGE. So whatever is working from that mix of different things, I am loving it. I wanted to see how I would react to this supplement and I found that two days in a row I woke up with an earache in one ear that gets better as the day goes. So here's what i am thinking. Despite the fact that Yeast Aid is supposed to help eradicate yeast (which it propbably does to an extent) it also contains something (OLE?) that works on killing viruses? and the side effect of that process could cause more yeast... so I would think that adding another multi-strain probiotic would be beneficial as adviced by Dana and Anita. Do you guys think I could start another round of TD DMSA chelation (perhaps with ALA this weekend, if it comes in the mail in time) or do I just have to be patient and wait for the yeast to get better, perhaps another week? I am just so excited to keep moving because of the beautiful results I have seen in my son!! I wish you could see him, he is just so happy and functioning much better, and he even takes better pictures now :-) Anyhow, any thoughts on this are so much appreciated! -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
