I had a 72 hour labor (reason # 12 I only have one child, lol) with lots of

pitocin over many hours. They kept stopping it everytime the dr left the

hospital.

And this was in the days of Natural Childbirth, no drugs. So much easier today.

Anyway, point is lots of pitocin, but totally NT daughter, who was late, who

took forever to be born and who is still late, to everything :-)

Great baby though, slept through the night from the time I brought her home from

the hospital, almost made up for that long labor.

[ ] New to the list: Pitosin question

Hi,

I am new to this list.

I have a son with Autism, currently doing biomedical and preparing for

chelation buy getting the mineral and nutrient levels up.

My labor was induced with Pitosin and I had an epidural. I had been

relatively a healthy adult though I am sure I do have a high body

burden. However, after I had my child, I started developing very

pronounced GI issues, allergies, sleep problems, depression and lately

strange body aches with no known cause. I have benefited from mineral

supplementation, mostly magnesium and zinc am removing my amalgams in

preparation for chelation so I will have many questions to come once my

son and I start chelation.

A list member on another list wrote that I could find info on pitosin

and autism risk in the files of this group. I would very much appreciate

any info that would help me find out more about the relationship of the

two.

Thank you,

Haleh
