Guest guest
My 22 month old son has been less socialble, makes less eye contact, and prefers to run around the room with something clutched tightly in his hand over playing with his toys. Could this be because the yeast/ bacteria never fully went away or came back or is this behavior caused by something else entirely? I gave him one round of Diflucan a few months back, but nothing since. Do you have to give yeast killers on regular basis? He still takes caprylic acid for the bacteria and I'm not sure if that is something that I should continue. He suffers from some form of sugar yeast. Is there another appropriate alternative to Diflucan? would Nystatin be a good choice? Also, how much sugar is too much sugar in your child's diet? He doesn't eat any refined sugar, but there is sugar in the fruit he eats and the prune juice he drinks for constipation. He likes Gerber Graduate peaches and their packed in white grape juice and I hope that they are not exacerbating his yeast. Is 20 grams a sugar a day too much? 40 grams? When you are dealing with yeast do you have to cut back on carbs in general? Even in grains? Would you have to limit to 40 grams a day? Less? If anyone is able to answer any of the question, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you,
