Guest guest
Hi : No, no difference because they were numbers not percentages. You want your free T3 in the upper quarter of the range, and your free T4 in the upper third of the range. Same for TSH also, anything over 2 is considered high and suspect for hypothyroid. My dgd's TSH was only 1.10, but her free T3 was lowish. I hear you about the mix up on the thyroid panel for the kids, same thing happened here and she ended up getting stuck twice. If the lab still has the blood you can get them to run the right tests if you call them right away, if not it has to be drawn again. Since the number of ASD kids reported to have thyroid problems is 80%, I wouldn't be surprised if his turned up low. I will try to post the correct ref. ranges for the kids, not exactly a computer whiz, but will try, if not someone else will do it if we ask. Yes, post your boy's numbers when you get them and I will help you figure out if they are okay and what to do about it if they are not. Good luck, [ ] /was:Re: Trace Elements hair test- Hi , I love your name! This test is for me (34yrs)!! Does this change anything? I believe my son has a problem also (strong family hx on both sides) and he has thyroid antibodies. I just had a draw done last week it was for the full panel and I asked at the lab to verify that they were including the T3,T4. I was told they did and DAN called with the results were just over two. She said that was " within range. " And they did the wrong panel and didn't have the free T-3,T-4. SCREAM!! If my DAN doesn't know how to interpret the results when we finally get them, how am I going to get the rx for him? He is three years nine months. Do you know they ranges for that? Can I post them when I finally get them to do the right test? Thanks! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all,
> > > > > >
> > > > > > I am hoping you can help me.
