Guest guest
Jan, I am doing the same thing - trying things out before/simultanously with my son. Here's what I have been experiencing: I have been getting earaches and came down with a cold. Some stomach ache (not bad) and foot ache (??) My ears are much better after about 6 days. No foot ache or stomach ache any more. I stopped taking Yeast Aid today because I am running low. My stuffiness/cold's there, but not too bad. Some cough. Taking Grape Seed Extract relieves stuffiness right away... Yeast Aid (it seems to me) that also brought out some viral issues in my son... he has been stuffy also, but nothing major. I think he felt a bit warmer the first few days of taking this supplement. Not any more. His cognitive abilities have been super good since we began yeast aid... toilet training got better, and school reports were so fantastic. The past two days they have been saying that Ev has been easily distracted but scores extremely high. Excessive spitting noted (b/c of yeast due to OLE in the Yeast Aid mix perhaps). Other positive changes I noted: excellent/new problem solving, very social (today) and more alert. Excellent following directions (receptive language, routines), but a little bit mischievos/testy. Bit more hyper also. Still very loving. Sleep better. Fewer tantrums. Actually less stacking/stimming (but still an issue). The negatives noted (distractible, mischievousness) I see perhaps as a behavior that occurs b/c he is more aware and/or a bit overwhelmed... Does anyone have any thought on the above? I appreciate it... Jan <queenvavee@...> wrote: We have yeast aid now. I am trying it before I give it to the kids so I will have an idea what it will do to them. I must say the taste is offensive and I do not see how I would ever get them to eat it. Even in tart juice as Kirkmans' recommends. Any suggestions? Any other adults try yeast aid? What were your experiences with it.? =======================================================
