Guest guest
Dear Haleh How nice to see you here! I don't post on the enzymes group often, but I always love reading your posts there. One of the most lovely posts I've ever read was one of yours, encouraging another mom. Autism Mercury is a very good group, too. Welcome. Sorry, I don't have any specific answers for your question, but thought I'd point out that Autism Mercury is one of the that has their archives in the Onibasu search engine. If you haven't tried using it yet, you may find it very useful. It is much easier and faster than the search. The link to Onibasu is on the home page. take care René > > Hi, > I am new to this list. > > A list member on another list wrote that I could find info on pitosin > and autism risk in the files of this group. Guest guest
Haleh, I did some research on the pitocin issue, thinking that the preservative was linked to cases of autism (since so many autistic children are induced in proportion to non-autistic children.) My conclusion, while hardly scientific was that it might not be the pitocin causing the autism, but it is perhaps sulfation problems in the mother which are causing her to not produce enough oxytocin- thus she needs to have the pitocin for induction. Many autistic mothers report having births that are very quick, which again points to an oxytocin irregularity that caused the quick birth. Again, both issues are a result of sulphation. Many experts in the field of autism (see the free sulphate theories on Autism) show strong correlation between sulpur and autism. It might stem from the mother and along present a condition in the child that causes greater vulnerability to other things (like mercury.) This is by no means the gospel- but it is my take on the pitocin issue. Hope this helps -john joshisims <joshisims@...> wrote: Dear Haleh How nice to see you here!
