I don't know too much either. To answer your questions:

The 40% O2 is based on information from my Dan Dr. Dr. Nuebrander has a soft

HBOT, which provides 40% O2 as opposed to a hard chamber which provides 100% O2.

There is an active debate as to which is more effective. Many believe that

40%HBOT, used over a long period of time is safer and ultimately more effective.

Others feel that 100% O2 is necessary for the first 40 dives.

I don't know anything about " factors that effect O2 " . The chamber my son uses

has a steel tank with O2 in it.

My son wears something that looks like an astronauts helmet. The O2 goes in

via a hose.

Not sure if I have answered your questions.

I believe the 3 areas that almost always work for ASD kids is chelation,

supplementation & HBOT. These, along with ABA can and will help and perhaps

even cure these kids.

This is a bit off topic here -- but I wonder if you could tell

me how the 40% O2 is calculated or what it is based on.

I'm curious.

I am very familiar with HBOT (including mild HBOT). I'm aware

of several factors that effect levels of O2 (including, for

example,

whether using a concentrator vs a tank

about of pressure on the O2 line vs pressure in chamber (usually 4

PSI for a mild chamber)

type of mask used (or hood or canula etc))

I've seen something like what you said with a % O2 before

--not very often-- and I'm curious what it is supposed to mean

and how it was determined.

I assume (AND HOPE) it doesn't refer to the level of O2 in

the chamber, but rather in the amount the person is breathing.

Which is where it seems to me it is really quite complex.
