When we checked her out for ourselves in 2004 she hadn't even been to a DAN conference at that point, but was going to the one in LA with several of her moms. We chose another doctor based on the fact that in way too many respects she remains a close-minded mainstream MD, and at times can be over-defensive of her liberal arts degree. We do know that she actually refused to sign off on a DDI Hair Elements test, telling the family the way to test for outstanding mercury toxicity issues in autistic children is blood testing, and called one of the world's leading chemists and by far the lead mercury detoxification authority in America a dangerous man.
