Guest guest
This adrenal information I have been getting is looking very promising for our entire family. It seems we have all the classic symptoms. I also am CONSTANTLY freezing. I usually sit at my computer with a down throw around me, including my hands, and my fingers still feel so cold they get numb at times. Is this an adrenal thing? Any ideas about eliminating that problem? Thanks for all your great help - I learn so much on this list. I wish my children's docs new a fraction of what you all know! Thanks! Weak adrenals tend to make you get too cold when it is cold and possibly get too warm when it is warm, but an adrenal fatigued person could end up cold all the time if thyroid is also a problem or perhaps if adrenal fatigue is more extreme. These general rules can have exceptions. For example, my estrogen is low, so my temperature is hard to predict as hot flashes interact with the adrenal/thyroid effects on cold/hot tendencies. My whole family has these tendencies as well, and I grew up learning this was one of those things that " just run in the family " and you " just have to deal with it " . So glad I have finally learned there are answers/solutions. --
Guest guest
My husband and I have family hx of thyroid problems as well. I need to get retested and get on the thyroid board to make sure it is interpretted properly this time. I wouldn't be surprised if I have both issues. > > > > This adrenal information I have been getting is looking very promising > > for our entire family. It seems we have all the classic symptoms. Guest guest
This is great - thank you Dana. I think we have problems with both. Does it matter which one you treat first? I was hoping to start with the adrenals while I am waiting for the lab results. > > > > This adrenal information I have been getting is looking very promising > > for our entire family. Guest guest
May you could try to divide your dose in half and take one half in the morning and on half in late afternoon (4-5)p.m. I did that, and the Afib palps are staying away. So now, my TSH is too low, and even though I feel great, I have other symptoms, like totally sore breasts right after ovulation (sorry for the graphics guys!!)(not pregnant), weight gain, and heart palps when I try to increase thyroid. I have gone from 150lbs (on no thyroid medication) to 175lbs on thyroid. So, I am thinking that I need adrenal, and don't really want to spend $150 on a saliva test. My doc only tests on the blood. So, not sure what to do or think. Blessings, AthleticItaliano@... wrote: Do you have symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue? I would suggest you get the saliva test done, just to be on the safe side! Guest guest
Thanks Roni, I tried that, but it seemed to do the same thing. I found some thyroid complex that I used to take, that has dessicated adrenal in it, and I am taking it to see if that helps at all. Guest guest
For adrenals I did saliva, blood and urine. Blood was normal! saliva was highX4, and urine was LOW. ??? best test was http://www.antibodyassay.com Gracia AthleticItaliano@... wrote: > > I have both read and heard from people that the saliva tests are better > than blood.... It depends on what you are trying to measure and what you mean by " better. " Chuck
Guest guest
- Can I get in on that too? ;-) Hi Gracia, Thanks for your reply. I found this website to purchase cortef, but it only comes in 10 or 20 mg. Would this be too high to start off with? Thanks so much! ************************************** See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)
