Guest guest
Hello All- I just joined this group because we do bio-med with my 6yr old ASD son Monty and we hope to begin chelation this summer. I have 2 questions for you (1) Monty doesn't have any amalgam fillings, but he does have a stainless steel crown. Is it okay for him to chelate with this type of crown? Also, (2) we are in the middle of a big battle with what we call the " Yeast Beast " (brought on by 2 months of LDN). We have done GSE and Diflucan. We were thinking of starting Yeast Aid by Kirkman, but would love any other suggestions/input for battling yeast. Thanks so much, Colleen
Guest guest
I can only offer advice on my knowledge of dental metals. I can tell you that stainless steel crowns contain and leech nickel. Most people will not advise you to chelate with ANY metals in the mouth for risk of pulling metals into the body from the mouth. How much longer will your son have this crown? Is the tooth going to be there until he is 10?, 12? If so, you may want to have it replaced by a biological dentist with a safer material. Not only do metal crowns interfer with brain waves due to electrical currents, the metal exposure is not good. Many people become nickel allergic from having these crowns as kids. Not to mention the carcinogen factor of nickel. My child did have two of these before I learned of the danger of them. In this day it is sad that most dentist still offer this for children to " save money " . You may find reading " It's all in your head " by hal huggins interesting. He give a health view of stainless steel crowns. And another book " How not to raise ugly kids " . These metals can affect vision. Does your child wear glasses? > > Hello All- > I just joined this group because we do bio-med with my 6yr old ASD son > Monty and we hope to begin chelation this summer. Guest guest
The only thing I can offer on Yeast Aid, is can he swallow pills! We ordered the powder and there is NO hiding that taste. It reminds me of moldy moccassins. I have yet to be able to get it down myself without gagging. So if you do try it, go for the pills, so he doesn't have to taste it. > > Colleen, > > My son also has the stainless crown, just ask the dentist to be sure there > is no amalgam filling beneath it and you should be good to go.
