Wrong Hair Test - I'm SO Frustrated!

Can someone please tell me if the Hair Toxic Element Exposure test has any value

at all for my son?

I had my doctor order the hair elements test from Doctor's Data for my middle

son, got it in and sent in the hair. I just got the hair test back from the

doctor's office and he ordered the wrong test!!! I had a real struggle to get

the test sent to his office and was blaming it on the doctor's office, has

anyone had trouble getting the test kit or results in a timely manner from

Doctor's Data? It took almost 3 months to get the kit, then the results were

supposedly sent to my doctor's office on December 20th, and they still haven't

received it. I called Doctor's Data this afternoon, had Doctor's Data fax it to

the doctor, and finally, after SO long, I have the wrong test in my hands!! I

am SO depressed!

My doctor ordered the Hair Toxic Element Exposure test instead of the Hair

Element test. Is this a complete waste of money? I am raising my 3 sons on

pretty much nothing. Now I have to do another test for the same kid. We have

another kit at the doctor's office that I was going to use on my oldest son, so

at least I can get it sent off fairly quickly once I can afford to pay for it.

Who knows when my oldest son will get one, but my middle son is in crisis with

his ADHD, just really extreme physically and emotionally, and conventional

medicine has made him worse except for the first 3-4 hours he's medicated, so I

have to figure out something else for him before I lose him altogether.

Thanks, and sorry for the whine, it was pretty controlled considering what I'm

feeling right now. :-(
