Guest guest
>>So my question is were you concerned about the > possibility of lead lingering around in your children with the use of > ALA only? I have read that ALA does not get rid of the lead. I have read that it is not very effective with lead, but it does address it. In fact, there is someone who occasionally posts here that ALA caused lead to come out in her child's test results. > Why did you choose not to do the combined DMSA/ALA route? Lots of reasons. Primarily because I am not using a doctor and I was uncomfortable with the potential side effects of DMSA, especially if I did not have access to testing. >>Also, I > need some good recommendations on supplementation during the chelation > process. Any good place to look for this??? The files section here is good. In my opinion, there are only a few " requirements " for supplements, the others are " beneficial but optional " . For my son, he only tolerated enzymes until about round 50, so I started him with no supplements at all. Dana
