Guest guest
hi i vaugely remember im sure (please clarify if im wrong) that you (dana) went up to 9 drops of gse a day while collating, could you possibly clarify how many mg equivalent was that and also did you have them on any special diet at the time? i ask because we are having the most dreadful trouble controlling yeast - we are using gse, but we arent on any particular diet, we do follow many of the scd ethics but we arent more than 80%scd and we have occasional gluten/dairy infirngements with a lot of enzymes - they never have rice and only have potatoes in any form once or twice a week we do use probiotics kiki nature biotics and while things have improved - he is on 4 capsules a day they still arent great any ideas - we do occasionally use ooo 2 -3 x a week but he has a major problem with the phenols. caprylic acid is pretty hard for them to take - cant get the capryoil here sadly, and cant think of anything else - we are using coconut oil i was considering candigone - i wondered if anyone had tried it? thanks emma --------------------------------- Model Search - Could you be the next catwalk superstar? My GSE is 10mg per drop. >>did you have them on any special diet at the time? My kids required HNI enzymes plus a few foods removals. At approx round 50 of ALA chelation, I was able to drop the enzymes, but still had to keep the food removals [rice, corn, artificials, orange/green foods]. At the very end of ALA chelation [about round 100], they could eat anything they wanted. > i ask because we are having the most dreadful trouble controlling yeast - we are using gse, Try increasing it and adding Candidase or Candex enzyme, see if that helps. > i was considering candigone - i wondered if anyone had tried it? I have not heard of that one, but if it is an enzyme, give it a try. Dana
Guest guest
hi dana thanks for the reply - wow i use a lot more than that with the gse!! kai 7am - 2 no phenol, 1 candex, and 250mg GSE at am fian 7am - 1 no phenol 1 candex and 125mg gse then the same at 11am and 2pm (but no candex at 11am and 125mg doses after that for kai ) and then probiotics kai 4 capsules fian 2 in the evenings i keep my eye on kai for oppositional behaviour it usually means the yeast is under control and the bacteria is getting the upper hand. but right now - hes giggling a lot, and scrunching up his face, turning it to one side. i use lots and lots of hni enzymes and candex (ill sometimes use that in between meals as well), they usually have afp peptizyde with those too, they dont actually eat a whole lot of yeast loving foods and theyll usually have 3 capsules of afp peptizyde, zymeprime or no-phenol to compensate (as appropriate) this is why ive gone with the chelation at last - cant keep treating the symptoms as ive now worked them out to be, without getting at the actual cause - did our first round this weekend and have had some lovely behaviour from them both!! i think i remember you might have written recently that to just try and keep it managed as best you can - guess this is it - i would hate to think how bad it could be without all the intervention!! thanks emma danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > i vaugely remember im sure (please clarify if im wrong) that you (dana) went up to 9 drops of gse a day while collating, I have used quite a bit more than 9 drops GSE while chelating, and during other high-yeast protocols.
