Guest guest
Dear Dana and Valentina Thank you so much for your replies. They were exactly what I needed to stop dithering: I will start chelation next Friday (barring floods, fire, or -- what was it? -- fevers over 101?) :-) Maybe I shouldn't have put a smiley there. Fevers aren't funny. Dana, I don't know of ANYONE else who has had to chelate a low copper kid, so your advice on this has been gold to me. Thank you! Valentina, I also remember reading that about being prone to infections when copper is low. I don't see that in my son, though his immune system is not in top form. We were going to do one round of DMSA and then add the ALA in right after, just to see how he responded to each, but I can tell you that I do have really high hopes for ALA. Thank you, wise women!
