The plan is to try to introduce some

The way I understand is that there is Vitamin A as well as Vitamin D

and Omega-3 fatty acids in CLO. Other oils that contain Omega- 3, -6,

or -9 fatty acids do not contain Vitamin A. I think you'd have to take

alot of CLO to get to 5 RDAs of Vitamin A, at least alot of softgels.

If you use a liquid it's probably easier to get enough.

important. Why?

Because beta carotene, and other carotenes, are not vitamin A. They

must be converted into vitamin A by the body. And if your body does

not convert it, then it is not providing you with any vitamin A. My

son did not convert carotenes until the very end of chelation, and I

also had to add selenium.

CLO also contains vitamin A, as well as Omega 3. Other EFA

supplements don't contain the vitamin A, only the Omegas.

Why?

I don't remember exactly, but I think people that are mercury toxic have

troubles converting

beta-carotene into the active form of Vitamin A? I don't remember why and I am

not even sure

that this is the explanation. Maybe something to do with the liver...

I used to give beta carotene to my son years ago and his skin would turn orange

:)

I believe beta carotene is converted in the liver and if the liver is

compromised, then the liver can't convert it. Some kids can from the start, and

some kids can convert it later, after some chelation.

Yup. You've got the gist of it. My skin would turn orange if I ate too many

carrots.
