Guest guest
Hi Nasir, There may be some initial transient, though temporary, increase in MS symptoms during the adaptive period when the LDN is first introduced. This usually lasts no more than one week. However, if symptoms are severe, or more prolonged, then the dosage of LDN should be changed to 1.5 mg for one month, then 3 mg for a month, and then 4.5 mg until the anticipated improvements begin to develop. Initial symptoms of LDN administration may include disturbed sleep (occasionally with vivid, bizarre and disturbing dreams), tiredness, fatigue, spasm, and pain. Symptoms related to increased endorphins may include nausea or constipation. These symptoms diminish naturally as the body adjusts to the increased endorphin level. Hope that helps! With best wishes, Dudley Delany dudley_delany
Guest guest
I have EXTREME pressure in my lower legs and feet, but it is not due to LDN. I have been bothered by this for 8 years. I guess its just an MS thing. Guest guest
Wonderful news, Ali, and definitely exciting. It is wonderful that your wife is having better balance and less numbness. We here are doing a happy dance for her. The pressure in her arms and legs most likely will pass. Sometimes people have more muscle tightness when they start LDN. I don't know the physiology of it; perhaps someone else does and will explain. But I am sure it's nothing to worry about. Your wife is lucky to have found LDN at so young an age when her body's healing powers are still so strong. LDN slows down or halts MS progression. Healing, when it happens, should be considered as an unexpected bonus (but how exciting!)
