Okay, this is only a couple hours away from me...Anyone want to go just to sit

outside and calmly drink a cup of coffee with an autism t-shirt on and maybe a

sign of some sort. Anyone willing to come and I will...

Anyone from farther away want to come is able to camp out at my house

before/after. I live about 2-21/2 hours south of Jax.

Okay, this is only a couple hours away from me...Anyone want to go just to sit

outside and calmly drink a cup of coffee with an autism t-shirt on and maybe a

sign of some sort. Anyone willing to come and I will...

Anyone from farther away want to come is able to camp out at my house

before/after. I live about 2-21/2 hours south of Jax.

Perhaps I am wrong but I don't see anywhere on the brochure for the

Offit coacning session that there is ay sort of fee to attend.

ANd we know that the event is being paid for by the vaccine

companies. And the Doctors receive CME credit.

SO the Doctors are receiving something for free form the vaccine

companies. DO they have to declare the value of the CMEs on their

taxes. Seems to me that there is a direct transfer of property going

on here. And what are the ethical issuesn here? Doctors are

forbidden from taking money directly from pharmaceutical companies

but it is OK to accept other things of value?

You're right, , there is no fee to attend this "By Invitation Only" event. I checked out the registration form at https://www.ahecmanager.org/nefahec/Registration/OnlineRegistration.asp . Note, on the registration form, this particular event is billed as the "8th Annual Immunization Update Dinner", so I assume the doctors will be served up a tasty dinner, along with getting a CME credit for listening to this drivel/propaganda, all for free. As for the "disclosures" listed on the brochure itself, Offit and fellow presenters declare that they "have no relevant commercial relationships to dislose". Hmmm...if Offit has no "relevant commercial interests" regarding vaccines, I wonder what new twist he has put on the meaning of the word "relevant".... Aasa Gilmore
