Guest guest
We are from CANADA, and the only DAN we were able to find is in the States that seemed worth paying for, that we found off generation rescue. He is a big believer in TD-DMPS, we had to convince him to Rx for TD-DMSA more than once. He finally told us to use it 3 x's a day for 3 days on and 11 days off. God forbid if we asked him about every 4 hrs.! He is not a friendly Dr. to work with. He already gave us the upper lip twice. I had to take his BS, and shut my mouth till we find another DAN. He refuses to meet us half way, anything we want to do with our son, eg. Valtrex. Even after faxing pages about it and current good reports on it. Now it's been two months my son could of been on Valtrex. It's like pulling teeth. We are scooping around for a new DAN Dr. The more I learn and read off from groups I also learned we are not working with a good DAN at all, time is precious. We already saw 3 diff. DR.s (not cheep) and still in our hearts are not were we want to be for now. But that is were we are right at the moment. I cryed because I felt alone. Thanks to all that helped me out, I feel much more at ease now and confident he will okay. MANY THANKS for the great support. Finally happy again, --- kenny V <KEN@...> wrote: --------------------------------- Lillian advice looks like for DMPS dosing /message/160529 Between Pam and are guidelines to what you're looking for Kenny V And 's advice would be for the TD DMSA /message/160520 Also Please look back at what Pam had said /message/160538 > > >> > > >> --------------------------------- > > >> I am not using TD-DMPS, so I cannot help you, but I > > >> just wanted to say that > > >> somebody will answer your message. > > >> Please stop crying.... Guest guest
Hey I'm from Canada too, Saskatchewan. We are pretty isolated, and I was ready to make arrangements to fly to the States to see a DAN there. But the more I read, the more I realized that I could chelate our son myself, as many on this list are doing. I think I would be in a similar position as you, had we gone the DAN route: frustration because they wanted to do things in a way that I am not comfortable with. Eventually I carefully explained to our local pediatrician what we planned to do, and got his support for chelation! I stressed how careful we were going to be, and did my best not to antagonize him or seem like a crazy person. (Mind you, since we were able to access the chelators ourselves, and administer them ourselves without a prescription, there's not much he could say in any case, is there?? ;-) I feel that when we are ready to try other biomedical interventions that DO require a Rx, he will help us if he sees that they are reasonable and safe. I think I've gained his trust. It's possible that I'm just lucky to have found a sympathetic local, FREE doctor... but maybe you could too. It sure sounds like you're learning a lot and ready to start directing your child's recovery yourself. Nobody needs the extra expense of a DAN doctor if you can't trust the advice and spend all of your energy appeasing their ego. take care René > > > >> > > > >> --------------------------------- > > > >> I am not using TD-DMPS, so I cannot help you, > but I > > > >> just wanted to say that > > > >> somebody will answer your message. > > > >> Please stop crying.... Guest guest
Hi Valentina, Yes we started oral ALA after 4 months into TD-DMPS, 3 days on 4 days off, every 4 hrs. He is doing great with so far, knock on wood. Still at low dose 12.5 ml, will increase soon. We just do not want to continue with the TD-DMPS. We just got our TD-DMSA, I called the UPS today and asked them what happen yesterday with the dilivery of the TD-DMSA. They told me it got on the wrong truck!. Well it's in today now we are going to Toronto tomarrow to see a new DAN, hoping to get the Rx for Valtrex and LDN. Wish me luck, I am going to need all the prayers I need. I have all the written papers on both Val./LDN so the doctor can read up on it. Thanks mom to Marquis CANADA --- Valentina Scharpf <val999@...> wrote: --------------------------------- > twice. And, please consider that ALA is the BEST chelation agent for mercury -- also the cheapest. Use it orally, and it is available all over town. good wishes, Moria http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/

It's important to give ALA every 3 hours! or less. Me and my son are doing every 2 1/2 hours, and sometimes even 2 hours. Our metabolism seems to be a little faster than normal. > we are going to Toronto tomarrow to see a new DAN, > hoping to get the Rx for Valtrex and LDN.
