If 4.5mgs proves to be too much I would dissolve ten 4.5mg LDN

capsules in 45 mls of distilled water, then with a graduated eye

dropper draw off 3.0mgs and administer nightly until I became

acclimated to LDN. After a few weeks I'd go back to 4.5mgs. Make sure

you keep the LDN refrigerated until used up.

yesterday..i had to go and convince the GP,over there many times,and

guess what fellows ,he agreed to release it tomorrow,,,so hopefully

my wife will start it tomorrow,,,these are 4.5 mg...i hope these

arent too strong of a dose,,,,if it turns out to be too strong,,then

what do u guys advise?special thans to mr,Abhay and Mr.drager.

Congratulations! Ali on your powers of persuasion. I trust the

Dubai Customs GP won't change his mind overnight about

releasing your and your wife's LDN.

If someone weighs 100 lbs or less, then Dr. Bihari recommended

they take no more than 3mg a night (at or near bedtime,

after 9pm and before 3am--and maybe best before 1am).

I'm guessing that since you found the 4.5mg tabs, which are rare,

that your wife weighs over 100 lbs and can take, or work up to,

the 4.5mg dose, which is what Dr. Bihari found in his research

to be the most effective for most people.

If she has side effects--and she may not--then dissolve a tab or 2 in

drops of distilled water and have her take the LDN as a solution in

lower doses temporarily. Dilute to however much weaker you both

think best to start. For instance, two 4.5mg tabs would be 9mg

Naltrexone HCL. So, if I'm doing my math right, then if, e.g., you

dissolve 2 tabs in 36 drops of distilled water, then each

4 drops = 1mg LDN.

Refrigerate the remaining LDN solution and keep it from light.

This LDN solution may be bitter (mine is), so she may

want to take the drops either in a gel capsule, or in a tablespoon

of something sweet.

Then, every time you dissolve another 2 tabs, make the solution 1mg

stronger (or even .5mg stronger), until she simply can swallow the

full-strength 4.5mg tab.

But you may not have to do any of that; many people do well

starting on the 4.5mg dose.

If Ali got his LDN from Irmat pharmacy in the USA, they are compounded capsules, not tablets.
