Guest guest
Colleen, I wouldn't be able to tell you exact doses, but my experience taught me to ramp up very, very slowly. I was using Virastop, OLE, and lauricidin together with immune boosters and my son had a huge reaction. If you've already seen a response with just that one product, I wouldn't begin everything at once, that is for certain, but add them in one at a time, slowly, and watch. Andy suggests that we NOT rotate the antivirals, but choose the ones we can stick with for at least a few months. I saw VS as the foundation of my protocol, weakening the viruses for the OLE and Lauricidin to do their work. I think that the naturals work extremely well--my impression is they are stronger than the valtrex, especially when they are used synergistically. However, there is a post on the MB12 board of a parent using only OLE to amazing impact. Just an aside: I'm pretty sure I've read that Valtrex, should you choose to use it, should be dosed more than twice a day. Something you may want to check into. Guest guest
Anita, Thank you for the feedback, no worry here of going overboard, I am a one thing, small amount type, as can keep much better control of the situation that way. My son is in regular class 2nd grade, so I know I cant throw him into non functioning status, and my husband would kill me to boot If you don't mind indulging me with the natural immune boosters you used, or is it in your file? If all the info is there I will get it there. As with my son, the adding of anything antiviral brings something to the surface, I stop the reactions go away immediately, but I know they are in there and in dire need of getting rid of. I am leaning towards the naturals for now, if I can get there with them all the better for him, unles I am making a mistake. Thanks a ton for your input,I really appreciate it. colleen > > > > Those doing the antivirals, I am in need of some dosing amounts, > when > > to go up etc. > > > > I have been using LDN for 2 months, have been seeing viral > response, > > and feel this would probably be a good time to try using some > > antivirals. > > I have a script for Valtrex 500mg twice a day(sitting up on the > > counter) > > Bottle of Viratstop right next to the valtrex, OLE(which I was > also > > wondering which brand or does it really matter?) > > I tried X factor Gold(grass fed beef butter oil, 2 days in a row, > we > > had some viral activation from that alone(rashes off balance, > > exagerated laughing) > > > > What would be the dosing of the OLE how many to start, and total > in a > > day? > > The Virastop, would you use at the same time as the OLE, > > Can you/is it safe to do Valtrex along with the natural > antivirals, > > or should I pick one, or do them all? Guest guest
Colleen, We used Valtrex for a couple of months and I can tell you that as far as dose goes, Anita is right. Our doctor told us to split the dose in 3. I am reading a lot of Andy's work now and I remember that somewhere he says that antivirals should be given in a small doses throughout the day (something like split the dose in 6). Hope this helps some, > > > > Those doing the antivirals, I am in need of some dosing amounts, > when > > to go up etc. Guest guest
Colleen, The viral file does list many of the immune boosters. Here we're rotating echinacea and astragalus. We also use inositol. I've got the motherlode of colostrum on the way (well, not me personally, although that would be much cheaper, but UPS is bringing my colostrum). We also have all the regulars: C, zinc, etc. The first three I've found are pretty easy to dose, although inositol is supposed to be on an empty stomach. Keep us posted how your viral battle goes. Guest guest
Anita, Will do, we are in hibernation mode now since I did not give anything today, like clockwork all symptoms are gone again. SO will load up on supplies and start in a few days. Thanks for your input. I would start VS at one capsule 2x per day. I started OLE at 250mg per day. > The Virastop, would you use at the same time as the OLE, I do. Sorry, I can't comment on the Valtrex. Guest guest
Hi Dana, If one is just starting out on anti-viral treatment would you recommend starting both VS at 2 per day and OLE at the same time or would you do one then the other? I don't want to induce a violent reaction in my son ie vomitting, fever etc.. unless of course this is the intended response? Well, I would not call my kids' response " violent " , but they do have " typical virus symptoms " as the viruses are leaving the body. Start either one, at low dose, and watch for reactions. If things are progressing okay, start the other one. Dana
Guest guest
Thanks Dana - will get to it. Any recommended brand for the OLE?
