Guest guest
I'd personally recommend getting some quality oil or butter to slather on. I would recommend a quality oil or butter you can slather on. Are you prone to breakouts? Jojoba oil is great all by itself, it's very close in makeup to the sebum in our own skin, so great for combo skin. Shea butter is very healing and easy to find (I can help). Organic coconut oil or evening primrose oil are great for your skin, but getting it at a health food store is insanely expensive. A soapmaking supply place would be a more affordable bet. Olive oil and sunflower oil are awesome, skin friendly oils, both readily available. I hate commercial products, they all have so much junk in them. Take warm, not hot showers, apply whatever you choose while still damp and then often throughout the day, run a humidifier 24/7 in your living area and especially your bedroom. These things help me. I was taking about 6 tablespoonfuls a day for about a month, then down to 3 a day. Nell

Guest guest
thanks, I think I'll try this. Especially since coconut is high in selenium, and selenium orally seems to help my liver and bodies iodine usage. Cheers, _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Mum231ASD@... Guest guest
I'm not prone to breakouts at all. Had dry skin all my life, but gets painfully dry when taking DMSA. Rubbing olive oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, etc, etc on my skin doesn't help, it just doesn't soak in. I will try the jojoba oil.
