I'd personally recommend getting some quality oil or butter to slather on. I

would recommend a quality oil or butter you can slather on. Are you prone to

breakouts? Jojoba oil is great all by itself, it's very close in makeup to the

sebum in our own skin, so great for combo skin. Shea butter is very healing and

easy to find (I can help). Organic coconut oil or evening primrose oil are

great for your skin, but getting it at a health food store is insanely

expensive. A soapmaking supply place would be a more affordable bet. Olive oil

and sunflower oil are awesome, skin friendly oils, both readily available. I

hate commercial products, they all have so much junk in them.

Take warm, not hot showers, apply whatever you choose while still damp and then

often throughout the day, run a humidifier 24/7 in your living area and

especially your bedroom. These things help me.

LOTS of flax oil made a difference for me (along with easing nighttime

achiness considerably). I was taking about 6 tablespoonfuls a day for

about a month, then down to 3 a day.

what is EPO? Do you mean some kind of GLA?

My TLAs (three letter abbreviations) are failing me LOL

thanks, I think I'll try this. Especially since coconut is high in selenium,

and selenium orally seems to help my liver and bodies iodine usage.

I'm not prone to breakouts at all. Had dry skin all my life, but gets

painfully dry when taking DMSA. Rubbing olive oil, corn oil, sunflower oil,

etc, etc on my skin doesn't help, it just doesn't soak in. I will try the

jojoba oil. Thanks,

, DMSA affects the kidneys somehow. I am sorry I cannot remember what was

the exact mechanism, but I am thinking maybe you are loosing too much water?
