Guest guest
Math is not my strong suit, but wouldn't 48 divided by 8 be 6 instead of 3? S S Hello

We've just switched to 8 hourly on TD DMPS. We've been doing 48
hourly since April. We're giving mins throughout as Tom gets really
floppy and pale without them. He has yeastaid, probiotics, NAG,
zinc, MB12, B6/mag, lipo glut, authia cream (tiny amount, no
reaction over past six weeks, other than smell!), calcium/D,
ambrotose, CLO, Eye Q, L carnitine, epsom salts baths.

Have had two absolute meltdowns - real fury, red in the face and,
ouch, bit me very hard which is just not Tom.

He has some gut issues - four BMs yesterday, not diaorrrhea (sp??)
but fairly loose.

We've divided his old 48 hour protocol by 3 - so we're giving 9
drops every 8 hours. What would anyone suggest? He's fine again
now and overall he's doing very well so I don't want to stop unless
I have to as he's coped well with all the many various supps etc.
This is the final day of 8 hourly before 4 days off. Before we do
the next round - is there any advice anyone can give us?

Many thanks and a very happy new year to all

Steph in the UK, mum of Tom, 7, ASD, biomedical since February 05
and doing very well overall.

=======================================================
Guest guest
So we should be giving 27 drops divided by 6 - i.e. 4.5 drops each 8 hours? I know this sounds a dim question - I really should start taking Tom's supps myself, the brain (mine) is diminishing! Happy new year and thanks for your help Steph x > > > Hello
>
> We've just switched to 8 hourly on TD DMPS. We've been doing 48
> hourly since April. Guest guest
Steph - Your dose is simliar to ours - we are at 10 drops every 8 hours. HOwever, we started very slow and worked up to that. I have heard many that have switched protocals say that they had better luck actually reducing the dose initially, and then working back up to the Buttar dose. I think the theory is that the Cutlar protocal may need less stuff, since it is a more consistent pull. Not sure about that, though. In any case, I would lower the dose and see how he does. You could always work back up to the higher dose. Ruth > > Hello > > We've just switched to 8 hourly on TD DMPS. We've been doing 48 > hourly since April. Guest guest
Hi Steph, I feel a bit presumptious writing this, but I'm remembering a few recent posts from Mandi. She talked about the same thing--needing fewer drops on the frequent dosing. Also, I remember she wrote about the transition from every other day to frequent dosing sometimes being a difficult one. Everything I remember her saying would lead me to think that reducing your drops would be a good idea. You might also want to consider upping your yeast/bacteria protocol. If more metals are being pulled, something we can certainly hope is true, than more yeast/bad bacteria measures will be necessary. Best wishes, Anita > > > > Hello > > > > We've just switched to 8 hourly on TD DMPS. We've been doing 48 > > hourly since April. Guest guest
From my reading that would be the equivalent of what you were giving on the old protocol. Several have said they've needed to go even lower with the frequent dosing. S S So we should be giving 27 drops divided by 6 - i.e. 4.5 drops each 8
hours? Guest guest
THink we'll go for 3 drops next time. Had a really scary couple of days and if they're scary for us they must have been very grim for Tom. Thanks for your advice.
