Guest guest
I thought this information might be helpful. I got it from Kirkman's. Enzyme - Lipase Indications - Long term malabsorption of fat caused by a deficiency of the lipase enzyme results in malabsorption of fats, fat-soluble vitamins and essential fatty acid deficiencies. Symptoms Oily(greasy) stools which can contribute to a rancid and foul smell of the stool. Tan or gray colored stools are also an indication of fat malabsorption problems, as well as foamy stools. We took my son to his 2nd DAN! doc appt. And we looked at his metabolic test results and found that he is not digesting his fats and carbohydrates well. And I have noticed that at times his stool color is gray. So, I am planning on getting him the Enzyme Complete DPP IV II Isogest Formula and see if that helps.
