Guest guest
, Ear tubes for us were a godsend, we had then placed because of consntat fluid and ear infections. They actually enabled my son to hear, he started babbling after that. My only regret is that I didn't do them sooner. We're actually on our second set. My son had this problem. Many people reported that removing milk eliminated this problem, so I removed milk and it did definitely remove most of the problem. Later on, I figured out that it was actually improper fat absorption that was the cause of the problem. I corrected that [mito cocktail and amino acids, plus pre-loading Omega 6]. I wrote about it here http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm >>Any other suggestions on how to get > the ears to drain??? They really helped the immediate problem, but removing most fats from the diet was the most helpful, followed by correcting the fat absorption/mitochondrial problem. > My son has made really nice progress with chelation but we are still > struggling with language What my son needed for language is here http://www.danasview.net/issues.htm > really is like he isn't stable on his feet. Very wobbly. This can be a sign of yeast overgrowth, amino acid deficiency, or a few other issues. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Dana
Guest guest
We had good results draining the ear with Hyland's Earache tablets. http://www.hylandsearache.com/underearaches.php shel4336 <shel4336@...> wrote: Hi All, The last few times my son has been to the Dr., they have said that he has fluid in his ears, but it's not infected. I really didn't think much of it until meeting with a SLP person and she asked that question. It didn't even occur to me that the ear fluid could be contributing to our language and motor issues. The Dr. recommended a decongestant to start with to see if that would drain his ears. Are there any " natural " decongestants or any over the counter without all the dyes and junk?? Any other suggestions on how to get the ears to drain??? If we can't get the decongestant to do it, she said getting tubes put in is a possibility. Any thoughts on tubes?? My son has made really nice progress with chelation but we are still struggling with language (his intent is strong. He tries, but he just is inconsistent with language sounds) and wobblyness. It really is like he isn't stable on his feet. Very wobbly. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated! - mom to Sam 3.6 yrs =======================================================
Guest guest
DITTO - they were godsend for us too. Also I wish we had his adenoids taken out with the first set of tubes. We are on our 3rd set. This has also been helpful with doing HBOT. Marisha , Ear tubes for us were a godsend, we had then placed because of consntat fluid and ear infections. Diane Hi All, The last few times my son has been to the Dr., they have said that he has fluid in his ears, but it's not infected..... Guest guest
, I believe that there are massages that can help the ears drain. They'd only take a couple minutes a couple times each day. You may also want to check with a good chiro. I believe that they can help some kids with this situation. If you google " chiropractic ear fluid " you'll get some information on this. My own story with tubes is that they worked for my daughter but only temporarily. I was very sorry that I as convinced by the doctors that tubes were the best answer. After the tubes proved to be a failure, I used massage on her ears and neck, gave her immune system a boost, used mullein and garlic oil for the infections that started, and eventually the problem went away. I know tubes do work for some people, but I personally would want to pursue other avenues first.
