BTW, the idea of unusual, suspicious, " look and feel, " etc. is discussed in some detail in my book Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html so that you don't have some absurd yes/no response of either poisoned (meets counting rules) or nothing wrong (doesn't meet them). I was really primarily confused about the copper. I assume you think it is fine to take him low and slow with zinc (body weight +30mgs) and molybdenum (1000-2000 mcgs) divided into three doses? I will post his new hair tests when I get them. Thanks for your help. > Andy >

Guest guest
Have you identified and reduced/removed sources of exposure to these? Guest guest
Hi , I think so. I have ordered a new test so I can retest him to be sure. The titanium was probably largely California Baby sunscreen. Aluminum, Uranium, Bismuth, not sure (water?)? I don't and never have worn makeup. Once we got the hair test we switched to reverse osmosis drinking water and a filter on the shower. Oh yeah, and we moved out of Chicago. I am hoping these are under control, but if you have any other suggestions, bring 'em on! Guest guest
How do you know how long to continue these copper-lowering measures (ie zinc, molybdenum, etc.)? Do you go by hair tests, symptoms, or is there a rough amount of time that it usually takes? > > Message: 2 Date: Tue, 01 Nov 2005 20:47:04 -0000 From: " andrewhallcutler " <AndyCutler@...> Subject: Re: ANDY / first hairtest / was A Question for Andy Cutler from a new member > > > Essential and Other Elements > > > Copper 36 (rr 8-16) (red - over) > I was really primarily confused about the > copper. Guest guest
, We saw results on the DDI hair test after 3.5 months of supplementing with zinc/molybdenum. Same positive results were seen in the blood tests (zinc up/copper down). Honestly, I didn't notice any behavioral changes in Ian. I continue to use zinc/molybdenum daily. We are getting another hair test at the end of November (we get them about every 4 months). If the values are even better, I might stop being so vigilant for awhile. We are also chelating, which hopefully can help repair this imbalance further. I hope that helps. Guest guest
It takes 1 to a few months to get ot normal healthy copper levels, then typically the intervention is either lifelong to maintain that, or long term until whatever is wrong with the liver gets better. I started supplementing for myself and my daughter at the same time. (Both of us have very high copper.) I felt MUCH better, but I have not noticed any change in my daughter, except for the 1st week or so she was somewhat more emotional. I think I was too impatient and tested hair again after 2 months. Our values went UP! Maybe 4 months will show reduction.
