Guest guest
We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. The cream is applied to the skin every night. We have upped the dose per Dr's instructions and has woke crying the past 2 nights. Last night it was 2 different times for over an hour. Almost seemed like a headache? Wouldn't drink his juice....which he normally can't live without. Is there a correlation to the cream being too high of a dose? Jalene --------------------------------- Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Make PC-to-Phone Calls using Messenger with Voice.

Also, one of my kids did not tolerate B12 except at low doses and always with folic acid. >> The cream is applied to the skin every night. Guest guest
How much nalaxone(LDN I assume is what you mean here) Yes most definitely does cause headaches with dosing, I have been on it for 10 weeks, and first dose, major headache, and each increase a major headache ensues. Levels off once at full dose, but if dose is missed, headache occurs within few hours of next application. > > > > We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. Guest guest
If you can get to the full dose, the headaches will stop after the day you get there(full dose) , but it is one of those things, you have to evaluate his comfort, my son was also on it, we got some rashes/viral illness, although he was not sick looking or acting, we got to full dose within a week, things were fine after that. Myself I went up to full dose in shorter period of time, but any increase I got a nasty headache, motrin helped. Good luck > > > > > > > > We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. Guest guest
Was this a migraine episode? Our daughter is prone to these and seizures. Both have increased on ldn. Do you think that dosing outside the time parameters would cause a headache also? > > > > > > > > We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. The cream is > applied to the skin every night. Guest guest
Not too sure if dosing outside time parameters makes a difference,as I have applied it all different times, the latest being 1:30 am, I think it was lesened, as was the extreme tiredness when I went a bit later than the 9-11pm time frame. No it wasn't a migrainey type as I have had those(food related for me) that I get nausea and the only relief is from vomitting it gets that bad(haven't had that in years), this was one of those yangy type constant low level headache, not the pounding migraine type. But enough to make you quite agitated with everything that doesn't go right, even thinking is disturbed, memory, not too fond of it, at least for me. Sort of a constant state of, what did I come in here for again, or what am I doing going out to the car for? type episodes, jsut brain diarrhea. > > > > > > > > > > > > We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. Guest guest
In case this helps anyone, there is a board that deals with low dose naltrexone and autism. It can be found at Autism_LDN/ Anne > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > We just started MB-12 shots and Naloxone cream. The cream is > > > applied to the skin every night.
