Guest guest
You answered your own question...3 days on (least 2.6 days), 4 days off every 4 hrs. Pulls metals effectively and then gives the body a chance to recoup...deal with yeast , constipation, mineral depletion & not over burden the liver. (Be sure to supplement w/ zinc & minerals and use milk thistle for liver support) http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ Also look in the files here for supplements & recommended supplements for chelation. http://f3.grp.fs.com/v1/4DLWQ0A7kKNtyYHAv-gk61cK7l7ebxvmy6ArJVnexHtpdB5KvBD\ EgkFcvAr7hpawFTS00Xu6VreVbNwtIik0fpEu520-Zr-wp-_4/Supplement%20File%20%28HTML%29\ ..htm Lillian fldofdrms@... fjennings@... The reason for this is actually the same reason as the frequent dosing, although this may seem a bit confusing. When you give a " last dose " -- one that is not followed by another one within 4 hrs (for DMSA) -- these is some mercury redistribution. In other words, if you were doing one dose every other day (which you are not), then there would be some redistribution on EVERY dose. If you did every 4 hours for ONE DAY, and let's assume you mean daytime (usually we are all working overtime to figure out a way to avoid night doses) -- then you would have, oh, maybe 4 doses in that one day?? Okay, let's say 4 doses --- so then, you have some redistribution on ONE FOURTH (1/4) of the doses. As it turns out, this is still not good enough. If you go for 3 days (including nights, of course), this is more like 16 or 18 doses. So, now there is redistribution on only 1 in 16 or 1 in 18 doses. I hope this is making some sense. BTW, I don't think the way I'm listing it as a PERCENTAGE of doses is necessarily totally clear. It is " close enough " to make the point I'm trying to explain, I think, but the amount of TIME may be more technically accurate than the number of doses, as a measure. good wishes, Moria

Do you need to give chelators for at least 2 days straight for effectiveness?? Or do you need more time off to avoid side effects?? Redistribution. Chelators cause mercury and other metals to be " stirred up " . They come out of cells/organs and if the blood levels of chelators fall, if there is not enough chelator to " catch " these metals, they will go to organs like liver and brain (they have high affinity for mercury) and so with every last dose, once your blood levels of chelator start going down, redistribution happens. At least this is how I understand it. This is why longer rounds of chelation are better than shorter ones. They maintain constant blood levels of chelators, so it allows for more excretion and less redistribution. When you start a new chelation round you need a few doses of chelator (so - many hours) just to create a constant level of chelator in your blood. Guest guest
The Bihari's(Mr. & Mrs.) have been on it around 30 years with no breaks and their liver enzymes come back normal. =============================== > > > > did you ever check your liver.i guess that is the reason that ldn > stays too long.alpha lipoic acid, selenium and sylmarin might help to > improve the functioning of the liver > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
liver enzymes is not the only test for the functioning of the liver. important is phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification test.this is a special test that regular doctors do not use. a simple test is how you react to a glass of red wine or coffee and how fast you urinate red colour when you ate red beet. > > > > > > did you ever check your liver.i guess that is the reason that ldn > > stays too long.alpha lipoic acid, selenium and sylmarin might help to > > improve the functioning of the liver > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Hmmm, I never urinated red after eating beets, only when I was passing a kidney stone; that was blood! Guest guest
What? My liver is fine. I never heard of peeing red after eating beets. Has anyone? Â Zhavi, do you have a link to explain this to me? Guest guest
I have heard that if your urine is red after eating beets that is an indication of iron deficiency. I had it, took iron for a couple weeks and then it stopped. Odd, huh? try then to treat your liver.>> > liver enzymes is not the only test for the functioning of the liver.> > important is phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification test.this is a special test> > that regular doctors do not use.> > a simple test is how you react to a glass of red wine or coffee and how> > fast you urinate red colour when you ate red beet.> >> >>
