Hi Andy - I'd like to know what you think about this also.

I asked another chemist friend of mine, who read the article:

http://tinyurl.com/alqy3

And I asked about the statement: " Nothing has a higher affinity for

mercury than elemental gold. "

He said " The above may (I do not know) be true for metalic elemental

mercury and elemental gold. But the Hg that binds to proteins is the

oxidized Hg ion and " gold salts " implies the gold is oxidized too. If

I recall, elemental chlorine is a toxic gas once used in warefare and

elemental sodium can spontaneously combust in water and yet I put NaCl

on my fries... "

Does this mean we should dismiss the idea? Or do you see it as

something that may have a shred of hope?

Me too, I would like Andy's opinion on this. I got a homeopathic gold spray

from the HFS, person recommended it for ADD. Darn if it doesn't help, I do feel

more focused when I use it.

Thanks,

Hello

You need to be a member of adult metal chelation to access that -

can someone who is copy it to here?

thanks

Gold salts aren't chelators and don't chelate anything. Whatever

effect they have is through a different mechanism than chelation.

I have seen others order from wateroz. I haven't tried their products but would

be willing to. The spray I have is from Harmonic Innerprizes and is called

Etherium Gold. Only ingredients are de-ionized water, gold and rosemary

essential oil.

I don't expect it to chelate, just maybe help in some way. When I muscle test

I usually test with a high need for it. Not sure why but it seems to help.

I remember this discussed before and a concern was raised about putting metal

into a metal toxic body. That is my one concern really. I do plan on chelating

myself properly, I just can't do it yet (one more filling).

Not a cure-all but interesting anyway.

In the hair test book, Andy does talk about gold toxicity.

I don't know how much it would take to become toxic.

If I felt a need for gold, I would look for a homeopathic

version.

I use the waterOz calcium and selenium -- not tried the others or the

gold.

Thinking out loud (or virtually I guess :) -- could the gold bind to

the mercury and then both be chelated out? Would it act as the magnet

and is gold more easily chelated?

Even if the gold would bind to mercury, you need the gold (and mercury) also

chelated out of your body.

LOTS of things bind to mercury (that's the reason why we are so sick), but

very few things are actually chelators and can safely take the mercury out.

At least this is how I view it.

Will have to go back and read what is in the book, missed that.

The spray I use is actually homeopathic which is why I feel pretty safe using

it. Great point!
