Guest guest
Kim, You may already be doing this, but if you're not, I'd recommend some immune boosters. You could start those right away. And, just to share my experience, for whatever that might be worth since I don't understand it myself: I think you know about our superduper reaction to the first viral protocol we did (and then quit early). Now we're on our second one. We're at 14 VS and about 75 Lauricidin a day, plus 10 ml of Sambucol and lots of immune boosters (these last two weren't in place before). We had to get rid of OLE as I think it was causing smooth muscle problems and constipation. Anyway, at that dosage, I'm seeing nothing now. We've had some little rashes here and there when I've upped the dosage, and at some point along the way my son's permanently stuffy nose seems to have cleared up (we no longer live with Darth Vader! Yeah!) but I NEVER thought we'd get to that dosage without serious regression. Maybe it was the OLE doing a lot of the work before. Maybe we've kicked out something, but then why wouldn't I see improvements? Maybe as soon as I send this my son will break out into a rash like I've never seen before. Who knows? Certainly not me. Anyway, my point is, and I'm sure you know this, your plan is a good one but you're probably going to have to adapt it. Considerably. And often. Cause that's what viruses do. They, um, screw things up. :-) Sigh. Let us know how things go, Kim. Anita > > Hi again: I plan to start our viral protocol on May 1st. Guest guest
We started feb 13th with 1VS and 1OLE (150mg 18% extract) and probiotics 2Xday, 500mg C. (We increased very slowly.) On day 4 we did the high dose vit A protocol and then gave 10,000IU 2X day after that. We also added Colostrum on day 4 and worked up to 2, 2Xday. By day 13 he was very tired. I increased his Vit C (slowly) up to 1000mg 3Xday and the tiredness went away. He's up to 3VS 3Xday, 3OLE 2Xday and doing great. We did need to add biotin 1000mcg 3Xday and increase probiotics to 3Xday for yeast. We also have used lysine for cold sores that popped up. (he takes magnesium and nordic naturals as well) I also swap out the OLE for sambucol, echinacea or astraglus about once a month for a week. I just got a report from the school that says ds has been playing tag & on the equipment at recess with a group of 4-5 other boys and is no longer " pacing " (stimming)! So we love the viral protocol!! > Hi again: I plan to start our viral protocol on May 1st. I'd like to > outline what I am thinking...please let me know if I am missing > something. How much? I started my kids with 250mg per day. I started OLE before Virastop, but I don't know if that was a better way to do it, or it would be fine either way.
