ACTH squeezes the adrenals and seemingly works in the short rum. However, it will destroy your adrenal function and your immune system. I would stop this treatment before it does damage that may never be reversed.

Stavros, I don't see why you can't continue taking LDN with ACTH.The ACTH will stimulate your body's production of natural cortisol,just as by a different pathway, LDN stimulates your body's productionof natural endorphins. You need a certain amount of cortisol to be healthy,and at this time you may be low. In normal release, cortisol helps restorehomeostasis after stress. Cortisol is not only the body's natural anti-inflammatory, it has quite a fewmore jobs. It also helps maintain blood pressure and heart function; helpsbalance the effects of insulin in breaking down sugar for energy; helpsregulate metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats; and it helps usget up in the morning.Although it is true that too high levels of cortisol over a long time cansuppress the immune system, physiological levels of cortisol will not do soand should be compatible with LDN. In fact, LDN and cortisol probably work synergistically because cortisolhas one more job. It mobilizes the body's defenses against bacterial andviral infection.
