Guest guest
I came across some surprising information at: www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/water-for-detoxification.htm I will copy the contents of the page below, but I highly suggest you go to the page and view it with full color graphics AND ACTIVE LINKS. This is valuable health information that Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gator Aid, and all the corporate offerors of non-hydrating foodstuffs DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Water - the great healer Remember, water should always be used during any type of detox program to help dilute and eliminate toxin accumulations. It is likely the most important detoxifier. It helps clean us through our skin and kidneys, and it improves our sweating with exercise. 8 to 10 glasses a day (depending on our size and activity level) of clean, filtered water are suggested. I was first introduced to the importance of water by the popular motivational speaker Tony Robbins. Tony Robbins has helped me make marked improvements in not only my health but other aspects of my life as well. I highly recommend his life-changing programs. Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that's how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you
Guest guest
Dearest Kelli, Did your doctor prescribe LDN instead of the useless Crab drug? I have no idea of water would heal MS, but it may do better than the Crab drugs, and I would think it would have less side effects. Hmmmm Aletha RE: [low dose naltrexone] Water - the great healer Thank you for passing on this info...but Water would not cure MS....If that was true, my neuro would have prescribed it to me instead of the useless CRAB drug she put me on.... Guest guest
I know that water is good for us but I drink up to two or more gallons a day, and for me, I have not had any of the benefit's or cures promoted. I drink so much water for several reasons. One because I use drinking water as a way to replace smoking when I quit 6 years ago, so now I constantly have a bottle of water in my hand . And two, because of the dryness in my mouth, I constantly crave cool wet water. I still have Fibro, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticulitis, Esophogitis and GERD, chronic dry eyes, dry mouth and other membranes and I feel hot all of the time. None of these things have been alleviated by drinking water and it has befuddled me and even pissed me off that after quitting smoking and adopting a healthy drinking water habit I am not getting the benefits I expected. I actually have to take mineral supplements to replace lost minerals ie: potassium, magnesium , from peeing them out so much to alleviate leg cramping at night. I wouldn't say not to drink it, but it is not a cure for anything in my Case. Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Games. Guest guest
, Too much water, which is surely what you are drinking, is not good for us either! I can't remember now the problems it can cause but from memory one of the problems is that it can flush valuable minerals etc from the body. Everything in moderation - even water!! S. Guest guest
i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 4 years ago and was put out to pasture to fend for myself by my sweet female MD. i do not have the typical fatigue. only once in a while it hits me hard 1 day at a time. i MUST get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. i take ONLY 10 mg of nortryptiline every night. for pain i only take co enzyme Q 10, 100mg a day. It works! if i miss one day of Q 10 I immediately get burning pain in my arms, inside elbows. try it. cathyM Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Water - the great healer ,Too much water, which is surely what you are drinking, is not good for us either! Guest guest
Do you take Statin drugs for Cholesterol by any chance? Your arm pain and the fact that CoQ10 relieves the pain sounds like a Statin side effect.
