Start with 2-3 drops and increase to 6-7 maybe... some people give a lot more than this, but I believe that if it is effective it will be enough. Charcoal is always good Give lots of minerals (magnesium, zinc, selenium, etc.) on-chelation days and off. Vitamin C 3-4 times a day. Guest guest
We are doing 3 days on/4 off every 4 hours round the clock. He is one who seems much better emotionally during the " on " days maybe because his hair test showed toxic(red) for copper and the chelation is flushing out minerals with mercury. I also have been meaning to share with all of you something we've found that helps with the queezieness and diareah...we have our son drink 5-6 oz of mineral water w/each dose of the chelator...we were just using regular distilled water but switched to Smart Water and Evamore and have found it works very well. Again, thanks for any help on the GSE ?. > > Are you doing the 3/11 schedule every 4 hours? > [ ] GSE?Dana or anyone who can help > > > Can anyone recommend the right dossage of GSE for a 63lb. 9 year > old ? According to my bottle, there would be 25mg of GSE in 2.5 drops. So I guess a quarter of your pill would be the equivalent of about 3 drops. So I would start with a quarter of the pill. > Also, should I just be giving it on off days? Guest guest
> hOw much selenium should you give? I give 50mcg per day. Sometimes a little more. It is recommended to give 1-2 mcg per day per pound. Use the organic forms like selenomethionine or selenium yeast. I use methylselenocysteine. Guest guest
, This isn't your question, but I've lately started using Candex and found it works very well with the yeast. This is particularly true during chelation rounds. I include Candex and some probiotics with each night dose and the results are very good. I have concerns about using long term GSE for some kids. I still use it, but I've found that if I use it with the Candex, I can get away with much less GSE. Anita > > Can anyone recommend the right dossage of GSE for a 63lb. 9 year > old ? Start with one drop in the morning, to see how he tolerates it. A dose of 5 drops 2-3x per day should be okay, barring intolerance or other issues with the GSE. Guest guest
Thank you, Dana for your time and advice!!!! Am I right to give the activated charcoal 30 min after the GSE? And do you know anything about charcoal possibly lessening the effectiveness of oral DMSA or other medications? Guest guest
Thanks so much...you've always been and continue to be so very helpful. I don't think we can thank you and the others who share their wisdom and experience with us newbies enough!!!! Other parents are truly our best resource in helping to recover our children. Guest guest
I will chime in here, this is my own experience but it is working well for us. First thing in the morning before any food, give 1 or 2 Candex & 1 or 2 No-Fenol (we give 1 each for 45lb). Wait for about 20-30 Minutes and then give 2 to 3 drops of GSE (We did 1 to 2 but now don't do any unless we feel yeast is starting up) Wait for about 30-45 Minutes and give Pro-Biotics (We are using 1 Mega-Flora) would give 2 if we feel yeast is starting up. Also, last thing before sleep on as empty stomach as possible, we give 1 Pro-Biotic. We almost never need to give the GSE now that we seem to have it under control. I hope this helps .. Just what seems to work for us.
