mercury, a neurotoxin that was included in high doses in childhood vaccines

until 1999, triggers the developmental disorder in children whose bodies are

unable to excrete it.

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rejects that theory,

saying there is no scientific evidence to support it. But researchers focused on

a potential link between mercury and autism say their studies have been

dismissed by a government unwilling to put blame on pharmaceutical companies.
