I had a problem pop up, but I'll take that over to the Frequent Dose Chelation board. > My daughter is 18. She has allergies. Her hair test met two counting > rules. She's willing to chelate? That's good. > > I can't remember, but you and your children must not have any amalgams? > The kids are 7 and 9 and have never had amalgams. My 7 yo has a stainless steel tongue crib in. I've read old posts re: braces and decided to proceed with chelation. The crib should be out of her mouth in 6 months or so. If and when full blown braces come up, I'm not sure what we'll do. I'll need to talk to the orthodontist about the time table and treatment and options. I had my major fillings (failing) replaced with crowns before I knew anything about amalgam illness. I'm sure I blasted myself with even more Hg when I had those drilled out, over the last 3 years. I had 2 small fillings (the last of it) removed in November of this year. After a very straight forward conversation with the DDS, I feel confident there was no amalgam left under those crowns when he did the work.
