,

I have spent the last year researching mercury poisoning and detox

as well as research/scientific studies on detox. I have never run

into anything like what you describe. If this in theory did work,

the mercury gas would contaminate the room and recontaminate the

patient as well as anyone in the room. Now they may be using a detox

protocol and an Infared light sauna or something. However, please if

you find any concrete evidence of this I would be very interesting

in reading it or looking at the site.

They have been using some sort of lamp which makes the mercury

convert to a gas that leaves the through the skin?? This is third

hand so the details may be off. They say she is nearly recovered

now. I told my husband that seems crazy and asked what all they are

doing...this just seems to weird to work. He is going to get their

number tomorrow and he wants me to call anyway. He isn't one to

jump on any bandwagon and he defers to me on everything health

related. His friend has a wife who is in her 50's and is early

onset alzheimers. She is the one I want to talk to.

I thought it sounded weird! I will definitely post whatever I find out!

The therapy is called " Mercury vapor lamp mobilization " . You can read about

it at neuraltherapy.com. He describes it as this:

The author found that by exposing a skin segment to the light generated by a

Hg vapor lamp intracellular Hg can be mobilized and displaced

extracellularly. The Hg is selectively mobilized in the anatomical segment

and tissues sharing the same autonomic innervation.

----

It makes sense to me scientifically in the same way a homeopathic

mobilization does, triggering a more energetic tissue memory. but I have no

data as to how useful it is or not. Cheers,

And where does it go after it is mobilized? Into your house?

I was just looking at that website and his views on chelation are horrendous!

There is a glimpse of of truth and then onward to high doses of ALA or DMSA a

couple times a day type stuff. I haven't seen the part where they talk about

the lamp yet. I would also wonder where it went. It can't just disappear, if

it leaves the body it has to go somewhere. I need to find out what they are

doing, and hoping the alzheimers lady isn't about to start trying this stuff.

She is likely very toxic and this could really hurt her.

Thanks,

good question... I don't know. Mercury has a very low binding potential, and

the vapor passes through unbroken human skin, and only stops if it hits

something it likes, like certain metals or sulphur. I remember a chemistry

video where they showed the shadows of lots of mercury vapor going into

someones arm and only small amounts coming out... Kinda like those videos of

the vapors coming off amalgams where virtually none is coming out of the

head... Ouch!

Even if mercury finds something it likes and sticks, it can easily be

displaced by short wave radiation. The wave radiation (UV light) from a

fluoresent light is especially good at exciting mercury, since the waves are

actually generated by exciting mercury in the first place (these bulbs

contain elemental mercury that is excited into a gas form and the agitated

atoms bombard the coating of the tube producing waves). They coat the bulbs

with a phosphor coating so the waves are converted to a lower frequency that

we perceive as white light, but the short wave UV light still is emitted

too.

You would hope the mobilized mercury was outgassed into the air, or

attracted towards the bulb, but who knows. In my experience people with a

lot of mercury in skin that are very electrically sensitive only get worse

with exposure to EMF, not better, so it would seem to me it just moves most

of it around in tissue causing additional damage. One thing is for certain,

it's not a therapy I would try without a lot more data.

Cheers,

Logically, I would think into your house, back into the person it

came out of and into anyone else around. As we know from mercury

amalgam fillings, mercury vapors are toxic.

I would have to agree with that .

I have many amalgams in my head still and let me tell ya..I can tell

when I have been exposed to too much EMF's. For a while I

thought..no way, hours in front of the pc or those lights couldn't

be making me feel worse. But it cannot be coincidence when it

happens every single time! I really notice an increase of symptoms

in any place light with flourescent lighting.

mercury salts and ions do NOT have the same spectroscopic properties

as the neutral vapor, which is what is in the lamp.

I agree that it might be insane to use this to mobilize mercury. I think

exciting the mercury thermally by sitting in a sauna might be better lol,

but the spectroscopic properties are similar.

It is well known that low pressure shortwave mercury lamps have a major peak

at 253.652 nanometers (254nm), irregardless of the phosphor used, and this

is the same atomic emission frequency they use to measure mercury in fish

tissue. For example, this article.
