Does he like ketchup? I've thought of mixing it with a little ketchup or

spaghetti sauce.

I'm curious to see what answers you get. For my son, we just rub two drops of

oil of oregano on the soles of his feet before bed. Then just cover them up

with his footed PJs. We're supposed to do it for a full month. It actually

seems to be working OK. Before he got sick the red ring was almost totally

gone. Now that he's had such bad diarheah since he's been sick it's back, but

don't know if it's yeast or just a rash.

Does anyone have any tips on how to give oil of oregano for yeast.

The bottle says to dilute 2-4 drops in juice or water. I tried that

this morning for my 2.6 yr son and it was so strong he wouldn't

touch it. If I diluted it in about 1-2 tbsp of water and

administered through a syring would that be ok? Or, mix with a

little baby food fruit? Thanks for any suggestions.

, even if you use the syringe method there is an after taste with the oil

of oregano. I have recently been taking it myself and grapefruit seed extract,

both diluted in water. While some complain of the taste of GSE, I could bearly

taste it but the OofO was much more noticeable. The OofO had an after taste

where the GSE did not. Just my two cents, Jackie.

I wouldn't try to give a child oil of oregano internally unless I could put it

in an empty capsule.

Our skin absorbs oil so you should be able to rub it on him, unless he is like

my girls who won't

let me put anything on their skin!

Thanks Jill. Why wouldn't you give it internally to a child? Is it

too strong? I did manage to get a small amount in him yesterday and

he had a reaction like I've never seen before so I don't think I

will try that again any time soon. We had been using GSE, but it

just doesn't seem to be getting rid of it so I thought I better

rotate yeast killers. Is it still effective to rub it on their

little feet? How often should I rub it and how many drops? Thanks

for your help!

I wouldn't give oil of oregano internally to a child because any essential oil

tastes very strong.

You can rub it on his feet and put cotton socks on him. When I use oils on my

family

I usually put just a drop or so in some good fresh olive oil ( just a little bit

on a saucer)

then rub that on. Your oil of oregano may already be diluted in another oil,

check the label.

As long as you don't see any bad reaction, I would start with a couple of times

a day.I also

would not use any essential oil long term (a month). Take a break once in a

while to be

certain it is making a difference.

Hi ,

I give all of my boys' supps. with an oral syringe.

For us it works well. And I know they are taking it all.

I always try these things first, and oil of oregano burns. And it burns

pretty bad.
