Abnormal EEG.....related to autism how?

My son had an EEG several months ago. It showed a slight spike at one

point (during sleep) and also it was slowing down on the right but

fast on the left...yet he is still non verbal. Very odd. Just

wondering if anyone has a similar situation. We are doing an

ambulatory EEG next out at UCLA.
