Guest guest
It was in Crystal's message titled 'Supplements"'that I read "10 days on and 2 off."In the section titled Dr. Lawrence's protocol - #2 Low dose Naltrexone in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Scroll down to the first paragraph "Suggested method of therapy"... So thanks for your answers and I will continue my nightly dose! [low dose naltrexone] 2 days off?I have been taking ldn for about 6 weeks and was just reading some more information. It was suggested to take ldn for 10 nights and then go 2 nights off. Do any of you out there taking it for MS do that? I have been taking it every night...------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -Take the Internet to Go: Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos more. Dizziness and LDN Posted by: "Destiny" destinyellen@... destinyellen Tue Jul 24, 2007 2:27 pm (PST) Dear Friends,My dad has been taking LDN since October 2004 for Parkinson's with great success. However, from time to time he suffers from dizziness which after taking him off all medications and reintroducing them we have found two times in two years that it was the LDN. The first time we just took him off LDN for a few days and put him back on and he was fine. This time he went off three days and his dizziness subsided but when he went back on 4.5mg it came back up to a level 5 (1-10 scale). What I am going to try now is taking him off for one day and lower the dosage of LDN to 3mg when we start back up and see how he does.Over the last three years he has gone from 3 to 5mg and back and forth several times. Ultimately, it always works out. I think if we listen to our bodies we can tell how much stimulation we really need and this helps with the dosage. I don't believe that 4.5mg is always the perfect dose for everybody all the time. Everyone's body is a little different. The good news is that LDN is an incredible successful tool and we are very fortunate to have it.Our best to everyone,Destiny and familyChange settings via the Web ( ID required) Change settings via email: Switch delivery to Daily Digest | Switch format to Traditional Visit Your Group | Terms of Use | Unsubscribe Recent Activity38New MembersVisit Your Group
